How It Works

Instructions to set up recurring donations and submit enrollment form:

1. Choose Your Giving Level

Decide how much you'd like to give — monthly, quarterly, or annually.

Every contribution, big or small, helps sustain our mission.

2. Set Up Your Recurring Donation via Zelle or Employer Payroll deduction

a. Step-by-step instructions for Zelle

  • Log in to your bank's app or website: Access your online banking portal and navigate to the section for sending money with Zelle.
    1. Choose a recipient: Select nsnatreasurer@achi.org as the recipient.
    2. Enter the amount: Input the dollar amount for the payment.
    3. Find the recurring payment option: Look for a "Change" button next to the date or a toggle for "Make payment recurring." Toggle it on to enable recurring payments.
    4. Set the schedule:
      • Frequency: Choose how often you want the payment to occur (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
      • Start date: Specify the date for the first payment to be sent.
      • Duration: Set an end date or choose to have the payments continue indefinitely until you cancel them.
      • Message: Zelle Donation memo format - Primary member's phone number or Member ID - Purpose.
        • Example Memo: 8888888888 - Sustaining Donor - H & H
    5. Review and confirm: Carefully check all the details of the recurring payment schedule, then confirm to set it up.
    6. Save confirmation details: After setting up the recurring payment, make sure to save any confirmation number (will be needed for enrollment form) or details provided for your records.
    7. Manage your payment: You can usually modify or cancel scheduled and recurring payments from an "Activity" or "Scheduled Payments" section within the Zelle or payments area of your bank's app.

b. Instructions for Employer Payroll deduction

Steps to set up payroll deduction

  • Check with your employer: Contact your HR or payroll department to ask if your company offers a payroll deduction program for charitable donations or leverage employer match websites such as Benevity, YourCause, etc.
  • Obtain the necessary forms and submit: If a program exists, you will need to get the specific form from your employer. This form is used to authorize the donation. Your employer may need the charity's name, "Nagarathar Sangam of North America Inc," and its Employer Identification Number (EIN) "223574110," or other relevant information to process the donation.

3. Confirmation & Receipts

  • Complete the Enrollment Form and receive a confirmation email.
  • Tax Receipts will be provided for your records.
