Dear Fellow Nagarathars,

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated leadership of NSNA over the years, which has allowed our organization to flourish since its humble beginnings in 1976. As we approach the golden jubilee celebrations of NSNA, Atlanta takes great pride in being entrusted with administering the NSNA Executive Committee for the 2025-2026 term. I am truly honored to lead this talented team during this important milestone and look forward to serving our beloved community.

Our overarching vision for this term is: "To preserve and protect the rich heritage and culture of Nattukottai Nagarathars while fostering their growth, and to enhance the quality of life for all Nagarathars."

As a community, we are known for our strong cultural foundation, our service-oriented mindset, and our entrepreneurial spirit with integrity. Despite our global travels in pursuit of economic prosperity, we have from time immemorial (தொன்று தொட்டு) remained steadfast in passing down our commendable qualities.

Change, as we know, is inevitable. Yet, despite the challenges we face, we continue to uphold our ancient (“தொன்மையான”) heritage, connection to our roots and traditional values, and remain dedicated to service ( “தொண்டு” ) for all humanity. In Atlanta, we are committed to continuation (“தொடர்ச்சி”) of these traditions, ensuring that the younger generation (இளையதலைமுறை) embraces our traditions (பாரம்பரியம்). Thereby, our motto for this term will be: "தொன்மம்! தொண்டு! தொடர்ச்சி!" — a promise to nurture our community’s welfare and prosperous future (நகரத்தார் நலமும், வளமான வருங்காலம்).

Building upon the foundation laid by previous teams, we will ensure தொடர்ச்சி in women playing a key role in leadership and decision-making. Our focus remains as தொண்டு - humanitarian aid, education, marriage and religious services. We aim to create platforms for Nattukottai Nagarathars to connect with professionals, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to provide mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities for growth for all Nagarathars.

Our efforts will span both India and the US, with an emphasis on expanding membership benefits and attracting new members to our growing organization. We will create a platform where all voices can be heard, maintaining respect for differing views and fostering a consensus-driven approach to decision-making.

Preparations are already underway for the next retreat, which will take place in our region, in a "France in Georgia" atmosphere, complemented by the signature Nagarathar hospitality (விருந்து ஓம்புதல்). Our Nanal team is committed to encourage தமிழ் (tamil) authorship and promoting literary contributions within our community.

Again, I would like to express my sincere thanks to our predecessors (முன்னோர்) for an exemplary job in establishing and nurturing this organization. We are determined to follow in their footsteps, preserving our core values while modernizing to ensure a more inclusive and dynamic organization, reflecting our theme:
