The yearly PooChoridhal and Ther Thiruvizha festivals are celebrated at Ponnalagi Amman Koil at Pillamangalam (0.5 KM) from P.Alagapuri. The "P" in P.Alagapuri is from this Pillamangalam.

 

The houses on one side of the main road in Kilasivalpatti used to belong to Sivagangai district and the other side to Pudukkottai district. (Is it still like that ?)
