68th Birthday Celebration

 

Kasisri S.Muthupalaniappan & Mrs Meenatchi Muthupalaniappan of Kadiapatti, parents of Gynanasabai Muthupalaniappan and Arulmeenam Krishnappan celebrated  their 68th birthday at their son's home in Galena, OH on Aug 28, 2010. Their son Gynani and daughter-in-law Nacha arranged for a traditional celebration including homam, pooja and kumbam soridhal. Close friends and family attended the function and took blessings from them.

The new version achi.org site went live on Apr 17th, 2010. As planned we have released several new features on the website including online registration, online NSNA membership, web nanal, Nagarathar Wiki, Regional sangam pages and forums. We are happy to see that more and more nagarathars are using the website to read nanal, updating their address information, become a member using paypal, communicate with other nagarathars using the forums etc.

Elango Chidambaram and Akila Elango are excited to have moved to their new home in North Brunswick in May 2010. It is their 21 month old son Mukilan Chidambaram who enjoys his new pad the most.

Obituary - Manickam Annamalai of Arimalam/Chicago

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Mr.Manickam Annamalai of Arimalam currently at Woodridge, Il. He was hit by a drunken driver in the Houston when he was crossing an intersection when he was returning back from his evening walk. This happened on Sunday (5/23/10) night around 7PM.
