Auditorium

We are proud to host the 2011 retreat at the Patriot's Theater at the War Memorial, Trenton, New Jersey. The Patriots Theatre on the Delaware River has served the state capital and Central New Jersey since 1932. Over the decades, the War Memorial has served as a backdrop for presidents and governors, ballerinas and divas, maestros and magicians, jazz and jokes, crooners and conferences, as well as for the top tier of New Jersey’s government, social, cultural and business leadership.

The Patriots Theatre at the War Memorial, has been totally restored by the state of New Jersey and is an outstanding 1,900 seat venue in Italian Renaissance style. The theatre features a proscenium stage and a newly enlarged orchestra pit which can be raised to stage level to provide additional stage space. The auditorium also features “state of the art” lighting and sound systems controlled by professionals. The grand stage along with the outsanding acoustics will blow you away.
 

Hotel

Accommodations have been arranged at the Trenton Marriott and the Ewing Element. The reservations for the hotels will be through our retreat registration system only. Currently the Trenton Marriott is filled up and reservations are being taken only for the Ewing Element. The Marriott hotel has a spacious banquet hall which will host the Discotheque and also the Chutti's Club (childcare). In addition, we will be using the hotel's many multi-purpose rooms for meetings, breakout sessions and other events.The rooms at both hotels are cozy and comfortable and will surely make you are well rested and prepared for the days’ events.

The Ewing Element is a brand new hotel built with many green features. All the rooms have a nice sized kitchen/ living room area. Since all the rooms have a pullout sofa bed of a queen size, it is perfect for families. The free breakfast bar features smoothies, hot breakfast sandwiches and fresh juices to give a great start to your day. NSNA will be providing shuttle service from Ewing Element to the auditorium. The contemporary design of the hotel and the generous size of the rooms is sure to bowl you over.

Food

The food during the retreat will showcase freshly cooked Chettinad cuisine with a wide range of variety catering to all age groups. Every meal will have different items including Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian items.

The food committee has spent an enormous amount of time to come up with different items to ensure that no single item repeats. Every meal will have two appetizers, a bread, two non-veg items, kids oriented items, two deserts, fruit stations and much more.
