At the Sri Venkateswara Temple of North Carolina (svtemplenc.org), Balalaya Prathishta of the Siva Parivaaram happened in a grand manner in the month of June and Carolina Nagarathars came together and sponsored the Murugan Vigraham. It is heart-warming to see the kind and smiling face of Murugan at our local temple!

Anishaa Abirami Kamesh’s (daughter of Suhanthi & Kamesh Chetty) Arangetram was held on May 15, 2010, at Charlotte, NC. Anishaa is learning dance under the tutelage of Smt. Indu Minisandram. All the dances in the program were set to Tamil songs. Anishaa enthralled the audience with her graceful dancing and her endurance. Her Varnam “Aadhaaram Neeye” was 34 minutes long. Anishaa’s brother Arjun Vishwanath Kamesh entertained the audience with a short Tabla recital during the break. Over 350 people attended the event and blessed Anishaa. Friends and family travelled from India and across the country and made it a grand success.
