Mutter Paneer Masala

Ingredients:
 
Paneer – 400 gms, Peas – 50gms, Big Onion – 1(nicely cut), ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp, turmeric powder – 1 tsp, garam masala – 1 tsp, pepper powder – 1 tsp, coriander powder – 1 tbsp, cumin powder – 1 tsp, tomato sauce – 1/2 can(16 oz), evaporated milk – 1/2 small can, butter, regular milk (opt),salt and chilli powder as per your taste.
 
Method:
 
Melt some butter in the pan and add turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, chilli powder, pepper powder and cumin powder. Mix them well and then add ginger garlic paste. Wait for a few minutes and then add onions. When the onion is nicely cooked add Peas (previously microwaved) to it. Add tomato sauce to it and close the lid. Wait for a few minutes, then add evaporated milk to it and close the lid. Leave it to boil for a few minutes by adding salt. Finally add the Paneer cubes. Leave it in sim for a few minutes and turn off the stove.
 
Other combinations:
 
You can use Tofu instead of Paneer and Red pepper, Green pepper and Mushroom along with/instead of Peas.
You can also grind Almond and cashews and add that paste after we add tomato sauce instead of evaporated milk to make the gravy more thicker.
