Ingredients

  • 2 cups of raw rice (Enriched Long Grain rice)
  • 1 cup Urad Dal
  • 2 tbs Javarisi or Sabudana (soak separately)
  • 6 green chilies
  • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, mustard
  1. Soak rice and urad dal for 2 hrs and blend in a grinder. Add the soaked sabudana and salt to the ground mixture.
  2. Chop onions, green chilies and coriander leaves finely.
  3. Heat oil and sauté mustard, curry leaves, chopped onions and green chilies.
  4. Cool the sautéed mixture and it to the ground rice and dal mixture. Add the coriander leaves.
