Points of Interest

Pillaiyarpatti temple is perhaps the best-known of the Nagarathar temples, attracting visitors in large numbers from all parts of India and abroad.

It is said that this temple was under the responsibility of the younger of two brothers belonging to the Illayathangudi temple with the older brother taking on the Iraniyur temple.
