Points of Interest

Mathur has the largest number of pullis.

The nearly 70 foot tall rajagopuram here has been constructed in 5 storeys.

The Ainootheswarar temple has stone lions with freely rotating stone balls within each of their mouths. The sculptural achievement is a feature produced by artisans of the Vijayanagar empire.
